“We’ve seen a rise of young people that walk through our door. We’ve had a rise in young people affected by housing benefits or universal credit. We’ve seen a lot of young people that have digital disparity, where they don’t have phones or they don’t have devices that they can use to access online portals. Or during lockdown it’s difficult being in a supported accommodation, being estranged from your family, not having family members. Coming from a maybe chaotic background, it depends all their needs and risk factors and just in general lockdown has impacted everyone’s mental health”.

Noor Orphans Fund felt it was essential to help support these young adults who are facing difficult times during this pandemic. Our team have provided hygiene kits to One Housing’s temporary accommodation in South London.
